Symptom Questionnaire

Medical History Review

External Eye Examination

Tear Film Evaluation

• Tear Volume Measurement: Tests like the Schirmer or phenol red thread test measure how much tear fluid your eyes produce.
• Tear Break-up Time (TBUT): We check how quickly your tears evaporate after you blink, which indicates tear film stability.
• Tear Film Osmolarity: This measures the concentration of salts in your tears—higher levels often signal dry eye.
• Lipid Layer Thickness: We analyze the oily layer of your tear film, which helps prevent evaporation.

Ocular Surface Staining

Inflammation Markers
